The best thing that can happen when you book a place is to find “reality” as you saw in the pics. And it was exactly as we had seen it. Not one complaint, the apartment had everything we wanted and needed. Nice touch were the Hawaiian Tropic bathroom amenities such as soap, shampoo, after sun, etc. Same goes for some kitchen supplies (salt, pepper, oil, garbage bags) and what was also GREAT to have and use were the beach chairs and umbrella, and also the portable cooler bag. The fridge cooled the drinks extremely fast and the speed for producing ice was impressive. We did use it a lot. IMPORTANT. Beds… you can go to a great place but if the beds and pillows are “cheap stuff”, then your holidays are ruined. The mattress was extremely comfortable and so were the pillows. Kitchen great in every aspect. Parking was spot on, and the beach, just one block from the apartment. A shop in the building which we had to use to buy some stuff was great and very convenient. My only negative comment, not to be negative but to mention it, is that the building, like most of Waikikis buildings is quite old. When you walk through the halls you ask yourself where have you booked, until you open the door to this lovely apartment. The swimming pool area was undergoing a huge renovations, we did not enjoy it but it will be ready in just a few weeks. Due to the storm we requested a Late checkout and it was granted by Midway Vacations so, a BIG MAHALO to Nelly and all the team. Thanks a million for a great stay. We will come back…!!
