Space

Trade winds drift across the lanai as Honolulu’s skyline comes into focus – Diamond Head rising steady in the distance, the city glittering below, and the easy warmth of a Hawaiian morning setting the pace for another unhurried day. From the 14th floor of Tower 1 at the Waikiki Banyan, this one-bedroom retreat puts four guests in the middle of it all without any of the rush.


The space

The living area flows naturally onto a private lanai furnished for outdoor dining, where mountain views and city skyline views stretch out in both directions. A ceiling fan and window AC unit keep things comfortable inside, and a 65″ HDTV with standard cable is ready when you feel like staying in. The unit sits on a single level with no interior stairs, and elevator access makes arriving with luggage effortless.


Sleeping arrangements

A sliding door separates the bedroom from the living space, giving everyone a little privacy. Inside, you’ll find one Queen-size bed and one Full-size bed dressed in cotton linens, with extra pillows, blankets, and room-darkening shades for a proper rest. A closet and dresser provide ample clothing storage, and the bedroom connects directly to the bathroom.


Bathroom

The bathroom includes a bathtub with shower, bidet, hot water, and a full set of bathroom essentials – shampoo, conditioner, Hawaiian Tropic body soap, shower gel, and hair dryer included.


Kitchen & dining

The full kitchen is stocked for real cooking – a Hisense refrigerator, GE stainless steel electric stove, GE stainless steel single oven, dishwasher, microwave, rice maker, blender, toaster, hot water kettle, and Keurig coffee machine are all on hand. Cookware, dishes, chopsticks, wine glasses, and a baking sheet round things out. Pull up a seat at the dining table for shared meals, or keep it simple with coffee and a view from the lanai.


Building & outdoor amenities

The Waikiki Banyan offers a shared BBQ grill (electric), sun loungers, and an outdoor playground for younger guests. Shared beach access to a nearby beach is available, and beach essentials – beach towels, umbrella, beach blanket, and snorkeling gear – are provided so you can head straight to the water.


Practical details

Fast wifi (276 Mbps, verified by speed test) and an ethernet connection keep you connected. Free parking garage on premises accommodates one vehicle, and a level 2 EV charger (220V, 12-35 mph) is available on-site. Paid washer and paid dryer are accessible in the building. Self check-in via keypad makes arrival straightforward at any hour, and long-term stays of 28 days or more are welcome. A mini mart and coffee shop on the ground floor handle the small essentials without a trip out.

• Free parking is included (maximum vehicle height: 6 ft). Large SUVs or lifted vehicles are not recommended. The garage is best suited for compact cars and mid-size SUVs.

• A parking pass will be available after check-in. Detailed instructions will be provided once your booking is confirmed. Please remember to return both the parking pass and keys at check-out to avoid additional fees.

• Be sure to review the Amenities section to confirm that everything you need is included.

• We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your vacation investment against unforeseen circumstances.


Transit

Getting around the Waikiki Banyan is easy, with many attractions like Waikiki Beach and Kapiolani Park just a short walk away. Public transportation, rideshares, and bike rentals are readily available, while nearby bus stops connect you to popular destinations like Ala Moana and Pearl Harbor. The Banyan also offers parking for those exploring by car.

Additional: Please note, that this condo accommodates a maximum of 4 persons (inclusive children), we cannot allow more than 4 persons in this property.

PARKING:
PLEASE READ THIS ATTENTIVELY. Please check if the parking pass is in the unit as soon as you arrive at the property. If the parking is missing, please contact us immediately on your check-in day by phone or email to report the missing parking pass. We charge a fee of $180 for the lost parking pass (price can be subject to change).

You will need to pick up the parking pass that is in the condo before you can park in the parking garage. To do this, you can park in the taxi parking area as long as someone stays with the car.
You can also park in 15-minute parking located inside the garage. You will need to tell the attendant that you are a guest of Midway Vacations and that your parking pass is in the condo.
WARNING: Large cargo vans and SUVs do NOT fit in the parking garage because of the low ceiling.

Neighborly Conduct. You will be staying in a privately owned property that has neighbors. Please ensure that you act in a neighborly and courteous manner toward your neighbors. Please keep noise to a minimum before 8:00 am and after 10:00 pm. Violation of this rule may result in a fine Please treat the property, its furniture, fittings, utensils, and other facilities with all due care and respect. Please treat the property and the neighbors with the respect you would want others to treat yours.

No pets, no smoking (even on the balcony/lanai). $250 minimum fee if you smoke in the unit during your stay.

Only people listed on the Airbnb listing are allowed in the unit without prior permission. If you have more people in the unit without permission than on your reservation there is a $100 per person extra charge. No parties or events are allowed in the unit or at the pool/BBQ area. The minimum fine for unauthorized events will be $500 + condo association fine for cleanup. Only guests listed on the reservation are allowed to use building amenities.

Furnishings. Furniture, bedding, mattress pads, kitchen equipment, utensils, or any other property supplied with the rental property must not be moved. Loss of these items, as well as damage to the property or furnishings over normal wear, will be charged to you. All contents of the home are the property of the owner. If something should break, you must notify Midway before check-out to make a replacement. Guests are not permitted to alter the wiring of the television.

Recreation Deck. The recreation deck, except for the swimming pool, is open at all times, on condition that no noise or activity on the recreation deck disturbs any resident. The Association does not assume any responsibility for persons using any facilities on the recreation deck. Use of any of the facilities on the recreation deck shall be at the occupant’s and guest’s sole risk. While there are no specific age restrictions upon children’s use of the various facilities on the recreation deck, parents and/or their guardians must adequately and safely supervise their children whenever their children are present on the recreation deck. Smoking is not permitted on any part of the recreation deck that is not a Board Designated smoking area.

Barbecues. Subject to availability, occupants may cook on the recreation deck from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm using the installed cooking facilities. Reservations are not necessary but may be made with Security if desired.

Containers. No containers of glass or other breakable material are allowed on the recreation deck.

Swimming Pool.
A. The pool and the surrounding areas are for the exclusive use of occupants and guests. Hours of operation are between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
B. There is no lifeguard on duty. Occupants and guests use the pool at their own risk.
C. Hairpins and similar items must be removed before entering the pool.
D. Glass or other breakable containers must not be brought into the pool area.
E. No large flotation devices, such as air mattresses or inner tubes, may be brought into the pool. U. S. Coast Guard-approved or otherwise, attachable small personal flotation devices only may be used.
F. “Horseplay,” running, screaming, throwing, or tossing any objects, or other loud or boisterous behavior is not permitted in the pool area.
G. Swimmers must wear proper swimming attire.
H. Diving or jumping into the pool is not permitted.
I. No one in a dripping wet bathing suit shall enter the elevators or other common areas of the
building from the pool.
J. Board of Health regulations, particularly Section 61, Personal Regulations (excerpted below), will be strictly observed:
1. “All persons known to be or suspected of being afflicted with infectious disease,
suffering from a cough, cold or wearing Band‐Aids or bandages shall be excluded from bathing in the swimming pool.”
2. “Spitting, spouting of water, blowing the nose in the swimming pool is strictly
prohibited.”
K. Special toddler diapers shall be used to prevent contamination of the pool.
7.9. SPA. All of the rules outlined in Section 8 above (Swimming Pool) shall also apply to the use of the spa, except that no flotation devices of any kind shall be permitted in the spa.
No person may use the spa without proper supervision if the use of the spa would pose a risk to the person’s health, safety, and/or welfare without such supervision.
Occupants and guests are expected to utilize reasonable judgment in deciding whether the use of the spa is suitable for themselves and/or those under their supervision. Elderly persons, pregnant women, infants, persons on medication, and those with health conditions requiring medical care including diabetes, heart disease, and high or low blood pressure should consult with a physician before using the spa to understand thoroughly any risks involved.
Caution should be taken to keep hair and body parts away from drain outlets and other mechanical equipment in the spa.
7.10. SAUNAS. The saunas are dry heat facilities. Hours of operation are between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. A key is required for access to the saunas and showers. Washrooms, restrooms, saunas, and showers will be secured between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. No liquid of any sort is permitted inside the saunas.

Please don’t forget to switch off the air conditioning BEFORE YOU LEAVE the unit for a few hours and at departure.

Any violation of the house rules can be fined by the Building Management and will be transferred to the guest.

INDEMNITY. GUEST SHALL INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, RELEASE, AND HOLD HARMLESS THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER, MANAGER, THE AOAO, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE MEMBERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES (“RELEASED PARTIES”), FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, LIABILITIES, SUITS, DAMAGES, COSTS, LOSSES, OR EXPENSES OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING ALL ATTORNEYS’ FEES AND LEGAL EXPENSES, INCURRED BY ANY OR ALL OF THEM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT, YOUR RENTAL, OR USE OF ANY AMENITIES, COMMON AREAS, POOLS, HOT TUBS, SPAS, SAUNAS, BALCONIES, CONTENTS, BODY BOARDS, BEACH CHAIRS, SNORKELS, OR ANY OTHER ACCESSORIES.

LIMITATION ON LIABILITY. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES AND NO LEGAL THEORY, TORT, CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, SHALL THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER, MANAGER, THE AOAO, OR ANY OTHER RELEASED PARTIES BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY DAMAGE, THEFT, PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY CHARACTER INCLUDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR YOUR RENTAL. IN NO EVENT WILL THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER, MANAGER, THE AOAO, OR ANY OTHER RELEASED PARTIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OVER THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT, EVEN IF THE MANAGER, THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER, OR ANY OTHER RELEASED PARTIES SHALL HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Both times was pleasure to stay, a few minutes walking to the ocean/beach, all restaurants and famous shops is located just right here. Also got a free parking, others charge $50 per day. So think and calculate and be happy. Truly recommended! Mahalo!
