Space

Step out into the warm Maui air and let the rhythm of island life slow you down. This studio at Maui Banyan places you directly across from Kamaole Beach Park II – one of South Kihei’s most beloved stretches of sand, famous for its calm waters, snorkeling, and fiery evening sunsets. With restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores all within easy walking distance, everything you need for a relaxed Hawaiian stay is right at your doorstep.


The space

The studio is thoughtfully arranged for up to 4 guests, with 2 queen beds dressed in cotton linens and complemented by extra pillows and blankets for added comfort. Room-darkening shades let you sleep in after a long beach day, while a split AC unit and ceiling fan keep the space cool no matter the time of day. A 42″ Samsung HDTV with standard cable, clothing storage with a closet and dresser, and hangers round out the essentials.


Kitchen & dining

A mini fridge, microwave, and drip coffee maker handle all the basics – whether you’re brewing your morning cup before hitting the beach or warming up a late-night snack. A dining table gives you a proper place to sit down and enjoy a meal in.


Bathroom

The full bathroom features a walk-in shower, vanity with cabinet, and a hair dryer. Fresh bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths are provided for each guest, along with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash so you can pack light.


Lanai

Step outside onto your private lanai and take in the fresh island air. An outdoor table and 2 chairs make it a natural spot for morning coffee or an evening drink as the day winds down.


Beach essentials

Everything you need for a full day at Kamaole II is already here – 2 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a cooler, and beach towels, snorkeling gear, and a beach blanket included for each guest. Just grab your sunscreen and go.


Resort amenities

The Maui Banyan complex offers a shared outdoor pool (open 9 AM – 9 PM, heated, available year-round) with spacious sundecks – perfect for lounging between swims. Two shared hot tubs are also available during the same hours. Guests also have access to a tennis court, shared BBQ grills, and 12 picnic areas spread throughout the property, along with a laundromat on site. Free parking for one vehicle is included.


Location

Maui Banyan sits in the heart of South Kihei, within walking distance of local dining, cafes, and shops. Wailea’s resorts, golf courses, and shopping centers are a short drive away, and Kahului Airport (OGG) is approximately 25 minutes out.

Transit

Maui Banyan’s central South Kihei location makes it easy to explore the island. Many restaurants, shops, and beaches are just a short walk away, so you can easily get around on foot. For longer trips, renting a car is highly recommended—public transportation is limited, and driving allows you to explore attractions like Haleakalā National Park, Lahaina, and Upcountry Maui at your own pace. Free parking is available on-site, and local taxi and rideshare services like Uber and Lyft also operate in the area.

Additional: Please note, this condo accommodates a maximum of 4 persons (including children); we cannot allow more people in this property.

Neighborly Conduct:
You will be staying in a privately owned property that has neighbors. Please ensure that you act in a neighborly and courteous manner towards your neighbors. Please keep noise to a minimum before 8:00 am and after 10:00 pm. Please treat the property, its furniture, fittings, utensils, and other facilities with all due care and respect. Please treat the property and the neighbors with the respect you would want others to treat yours.

No Pets or Smoking:
Smoking is prohibited in condos & lanais. All pets are prohibited. Violation will result in a $250.00 charge & you will be asked to leave. You will be held financially responsible for cleaning & deodorization. This is Hawaii Law. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Only people listed on the Airbnb listing are allowed in the unit without prior permission. If you have more people in the unit without permission than on your reservation, there is a $100 per person extra charge. No parties or events allowed in the unit or at the pool area. Minimum fine for unauthorized events will be $500 + condo association fine for cleanup. Only guests listed on the reservation are allowed to use building amenities.

Furnishings: Furniture, bedding, mattress pads, kitchen equipment, utensils, or any other property supplied with the rental property must not be moved. Loss of these items, as well as damage to the property or furnishings in excess of normal wear, will be charged to you. All contents of the home are the property of the owner. If something should break, you must notify Midway before check-out so that a replacement can be made. Guests are not permitted to alter the wiring of the television.

Bugs & Pests:
Maui is a tropical island. The temperate climate makes it conducive to Geckos, bugs & ghost ants. These were here before people, so we have to share it with them. Our buildings and vacation rentals are treated regularly by a professional pest control service. However, it is impossible to completely prevent the presence of all bugs, and this is not an indication of cleanliness. Dead bugs indicate that the treatments are effective. The best way to prevent their presence is to properly seal food and keep counters and sinks clear of food debris that attracts them. Keep doors and lanai screens closed to prevent flying insects and birds from entering the condo.

INDEMNITY. GUEST SHALL INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, RELEASE, AND HOLD HARMLESS THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER, MANAGER, THE AOAO, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE MEMBERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AGENTS AND REPRESENTATIVES (“RELEASED PARTIES”), FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, LIABILITIES, SUITS, DAMAGES, COSTS, LOSSES, OR EXPENSES OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING ALL ATTORNEYS’ FEES AND LEGAL EXPENSES, INCURRED BY ANY OR ALL OF THEM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT, YOUR RENTAL, OR USE OF ANY AMENITIES, COMMON AREAS, POOLS, HOT TUBS, SPAS, SAUNAS, BALCONIES, CONTENTS, BODY BOARDS, BEACH CHAIRS, SNORKELS, OR ANY OTHER ACCESSORIES.

LIMITATION ON LIABILITY. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES AND UNDER NO LEGAL THEORY, TORT, CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, SHALL THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER, MANAGER, THE AOAO, OR ANY OTHER RELEASED PARTIES BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY DAMAGE, THEFT, PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY CHARACTER INCLUDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR YOUR RENTAL. IN NO EVENT WILL THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER, MANAGER, THE AOAO, OR ANY OTHER RELEASED PARTIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE AMOUNTS ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT, EVEN IF MANAGER, THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER OR ANY OTHER RELEASED PARTIES SHALL HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
