Clear, calm water awaits for snorkeling, Maui’s legendary sunsets close out each evening, and with a shared heated pool, hot tubs, and beach essentials already packed and ready, a full island day starts the moment you step outside.

A well-equipped studio for up to 4 guests, all on a single level with no stairs:

Transit

Maui Banyan’s central South Kihei location makes it easy to explore the island. Many restaurants, shops, and beaches are just a short walk away, so you can easily get around on foot. For longer trips, renting a car is highly recommended—public transportation is limited, and driving allows you to explore attractions like Haleakalā National Park, Lahaina, and Upcountry Maui at your own pace. Free parking is available on-site, and local taxi and rideshare services like Uber and Lyft also operate in the area.

Additional: Please note, this condo accommodates a maximum of 4 persons (including children); we cannot allow more people in this property.

Neighborly Conduct:
You will be staying in a privately owned property that has neighbors. Please ensure that you act in a neighborly and courteous manner towards your neighbors. Please keep noise to a minimum before 8:00 am and after 10:00 pm. Please treat the property, its furniture, fittings, utensils, and other facilities with all due care and respect. Please treat the property and the neighbors with the respect you would want others to treat yours.

No Pets or Smoking:
Smoking is prohibited in condos & lanais. All pets are prohibited. Violation will result in a $250.00 charge & you will be asked to leave. You will be held financially responsible for cleaning & deodorization. This is Hawaii Law. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Only people listed on the Airbnb listing are allowed in the unit without prior permission. If you have more people in the unit without permission than on your reservation, there is a $100 per person extra charge. No parties or events allowed in the unit or at the pool area. Minimum fine for unauthorized events will be $500 + condo association fine for cleanup. Only guests listed on the reservation are allowed to use building amenities.

Furnishings: Furniture, bedding, mattress pads, kitchen equipment, utensils, or any other property supplied with the rental property must not be moved. Loss of these items, as well as damage to the property or furnishings in excess of normal wear, will be charged to you. All contents of the home are the property of the owner. If something should break, you must notify Midway before check-out so that a replacement can be made. Guests are not permitted to alter the wiring of the television.

Bugs & Pests:
Maui is a tropical island. The temperate climate makes it conducive to Geckos, bugs & ghost ants. These were here before people, so we have to share it with them. Our buildings and vacation rentals are treated regularly by a professional pest control service. However, it is impossible to completely prevent the presence of all bugs, and this is not an indication of cleanliness. Dead bugs indicate that the treatments are effective. The best way to prevent their presence is to properly seal food and keep counters and sinks clear of food debris that attracts them. Keep doors and lanai screens closed to prevent flying insects and birds from entering the condo.

INDEMNITY. GUEST SHALL INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, RELEASE, AND HOLD HARMLESS THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER, MANAGER, THE AOAO, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE MEMBERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AGENTS AND REPRESENTATIVES (“RELEASED PARTIES”), FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, LIABILITIES, SUITS, DAMAGES, COSTS, LOSSES, OR EXPENSES OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING ALL ATTORNEYS’ FEES AND LEGAL EXPENSES, INCURRED BY ANY OR ALL OF THEM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT, YOUR RENTAL, OR USE OF ANY AMENITIES, COMMON AREAS, POOLS, HOT TUBS, SPAS, SAUNAS, BALCONIES, CONTENTS, BODY BOARDS, BEACH CHAIRS, SNORKELS, OR ANY OTHER ACCESSORIES.

LIMITATION ON LIABILITY. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES AND UNDER NO LEGAL THEORY, TORT, CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, SHALL THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER, MANAGER, THE AOAO, OR ANY OTHER RELEASED PARTIES BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY DAMAGE, THEFT, PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY CHARACTER INCLUDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR YOUR RENTAL. IN NO EVENT WILL THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER, MANAGER, THE AOAO, OR ANY OTHER RELEASED PARTIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE AMOUNTS ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT, EVEN IF MANAGER, THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER OR ANY OTHER RELEASED PARTIES SHALL HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
