Transit
Getting around the neighborhood is simple. Many beaches, parks, and shops are a short walk or quick drive away, and Kihei’s flat layout makes it ideal for walking or biking. Public bus stops are close for easy island travel. Parking at Maui Sunset is convenient with free on-site parking, making it stress-free to explore Kihei, Wailea, and the rest of Maui by car.

Please keep noise to a minimum before 8:00 am and after 10:00 pm. Please treat the property, its furniture, fittings, utensils, and other facilities with all due care and respect. Please treat the property and the neighbors with the respect you would want others to treat yours.
No Pets or Smoking:
Smoking is prohibited in condos & lanais. All pets are prohibited. Violation will result in a $250.00 charge & you will be asked to leave. You will be held financially responsible for cleaning & deodorization. This is Hawaii Law. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Only people listed on the Airbnb listing are allowed in the unit without prior permission. If you have more people in the unit without permission than on your reservation, there is a $100 per person extra charge. No parties or events allowed in the unit or at the pool area. Minimum fine for unauthorized events will be $500 + condo association fine for cleanup. Only guests listed on the reservation are allowed to use building amenities.
Furnishings: Furniture, bedding, mattress pads, kitchen equipment, utensils, or any other property supplied with the rental property must not be moved. Loss of these items, as well as damage to the property or furnishings in excess of normal wear, will be charged to you. All contents of the home are the property of the owner. If something should break, you must notify Midway before check-out so that a replacement can be made. Guests are not permitted to alter the wiring of the television.
Bugs & Pests:
Maui is a tropical island. The temperate climate makes it conducive to Geckos, bugs & ghost ants. These were here before people, so we have to share it with them. Our buildings and vacation rentals are treated regularly by a professional pest control service. However, it is impossible to completely prevent the presence of all bugs, and this is not an indication of cleanliness. Dead bugs indicate that the treatments are effective. The best way to prevent their presence is to properly seal food and keep counters and sinks clear of food debris that attracts them. Keep doors and lanai screens closed to prevent flying insects and birds from entering the condo.
INDEMNITY. The place is beautifully styled with new furniture and fittings, with a fantastic view across the expansive garden areas and out to the ocean. Facilities were great and we loved enjoying a wine and watching the sunsets from the balcony.
We would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone looking to stay in Kīhei.

Our family of five had a great stay at this
Our family of five had a great stay at this updated condo in the Maui Sunset complex. The recently renovated unit was just like the photos – very clean, modern, and well equipped – it even had a much newer AC unit than other condos on the property. The kitchen had ample necessary equipment, allowing us to enjoy several meals at the condo. Morning coffee on the lanai was magical – peaceful with a gorgeous view! The common grounds are also very well kept, and the shared grills are fairly new and easy to use.
Kihei and Maui Sunset are centrally located, with many restaurants/food trucks and beaches in close proximity. (Our favorite meal out was Paia Fish Market South Side – check them out!) We also appreciated the beach chairs, towels, and cooler provided, which were convenient on our trips to nearby beaches. Overall, we had a great stay – the condo was beautiful, and the Midway team was proactive, communicative, and very quick to respond if anything came up. Highly recommend!
