Space

Morning light catches the mountain ridges beyond Waikiki’s skyline as the city stirs below, and from the 25th floor, the trade winds drift through the windows while the neighborhood hums quietly in the distance. This is the kind of place where a slow start to the day feels earned – coffee on the lanai, views shifting with the light, and the beach just a short walk away whenever you’re ready.


Waikiki Banyan Tower 2 (Mauka) puts you right in the heart of Honolulu’s most iconic neighborhood, with direct beach access, dining, shopping, and local attractions all within easy reach on foot.


Living space

The living area is set up for easy downtime between adventures. Stretch out on the pull-out sleeper sofa, stream your favorites on the Samsung smart TV with standard cable, or let the window AC unit keep things cool while you recharge. Large windows frame the mountain and city views and fill the space with natural light throughout the day. An Ethernet connection and fast WiFi (214 Mbps, verified) keep you connected for streaming and video calls.


Sleeping arrangements

The bedroom is separated from the living area by a sliding panel door – enough separation for a good night’s rest without closing the layout off entirely. Inside, you’ll find a queen-size bed, closet storage, and room-darkening shades. Extra pillows and blankets are provided, and linens are professionally cleaned before every stay.


Kitchen & dining

The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook in whenever you feel like it. A Frigidaire refrigerator, GE stainless steel electric stove and single oven, microwave, drip coffee maker, rice maker, blender, and a full set of dishes, cookware, and wine glasses are all at your disposal. A dining table seats the group comfortably for meals at home.


Bathroom

The bathroom includes a bathtub, shower gel, hair dryer, and Essentiel Elements Bathe shampoo, conditioner, and body soap, so you can pack light and arrive ready to settle in.


Outdoor space

Step out onto the private lanai – furnished with outdoor seating and a dining area – to take in views that shift beautifully from morning through evening. It’s a natural spot for coffee, a meal, or a quiet moment as the city glows after dark. Beach essentials (towels, umbrella, beach blanket, and snorkeling gear) are included for days out on the water, along with sun loungers. A BBQ grill is also available for outdoor cooking.


Building & facilities

The building includes elevator access, paid on-site laundry (washer and dryer), a shared sauna, and an EV charger (Level 2, 220V). Free garage parking for one vehicle is included. Self check-in via keypad makes arrival straightforward, and the condo sits on a single level with no interior stairs. An outdoor playground is also available on the property.


Neighborhood

Waikiki Banyan is steps from the beach, public transit, and the full stretch of Waikiki’s restaurants, shops, and attractions. Kapiolani Park and the coastal paths nearby offer a quieter side of the neighborhood for morning walks or an evening stroll. Free resort access is included for guests.

• This unit is privately managed and not affiliated with the hotel. Room service and daily housekeeping are not provided.

• A welcome starter kit with coffee, toiletries, and essentials is provided to help you settle in comfortably upon arrival; please note this kit is complimentary and not replenished during your stay.

• Free parking is included (maximum vehicle height: 6 ft). Large SUVs or lifted vehicles are not recommended. The garage is best suited for compact cars and mid-size SUVs.

• A parking pass will be available after check-in. Detailed instructions will be provided once your booking is confirmed. Please remember to return both the parking pass and keys at check-out to avoid additional fees.

• Be sure to review the Amenities section to confirm that everything you need is included.

• We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your vacation investment against unforeseen circumstances.


Transit

Getting around the Waikiki Banyan is easy, with many attractions like Waikiki Beach and Kapiolani Park just a short walk away. Public transportation, rideshares, and bike rentals are readily available, while nearby bus stops connect you to popular destinations like Ala Moana and Pearl Harbor. The Banyan also offers parking for those exploring by car.

Parking:
PLEASE READ THIS ATTENTIVELY. Please check if the parking pass is in the unit when you arrive at the property. The Parking pass will be on the hook behind the front door or the kitchen counter. If the parking is missing, please contact us immediately on your check-in day by phone or email to report the missing parking pass. We charge a fee of $150 for the lost parking pass.

You will need to pick up the parking pass that is in the condo before you can park in the parking garage. To do this, drive into the parking and stop at the parking boot. Tell the parking attendant you are a guest of Midway Vacations, your parking pass is in the unit and ask to park in the loading zone for 15 minutes.

Your vehicle must display the parking pass from the rear-view mirror or on the driver’s side of the dashboard with the license number portion facing forward. The license number must be visible. Parking is unassigned.

WARNING: Maximum car height 6 ft. Large cargo vans and SUVs that are lifted or have a roof rack do NOT fit in the parking garage because of the low ceiling. If a vehicle does not fit in our garage, you will be responsible for finding and paying for alternative parking at your expense. Call security if you have any questions.

Please leave the parking pass and garage key inside the unit when you check out.
Key: The key in the inside of the unit is to enter the sauna, on the 6th floor, and to enter the garage during nighttime.

Neighborly Conduct. You will be staying in a privately owned property that has neighbors. Please ensure that you act in a neighborly and courteous manner towards your neighbors. Please keep noise to a minimum before 8:00 am and after 10:00 pm. Violation of this rule may result in a fine Please treat the property, its furniture, fittings, utensils, and other facilities with all due care and respect. Please treat the property and the neighbors with the respect you would want others to treat yours.

No pets, no smoking (even on the balcony/lanai). $250 minimum fee if you smoke in the unit during your stay.

Only people listed on Airbnb listing allowed in the unit without prior permission. If you have more people in the unit without permission than on your reservation there is a $100 per person extra charge. No parties or events are allowed in the unit or at the pool/BBQ area. The minimum fine for unauthorized events will be $500 + condo association fine for cleanup. Only guests listed on the reservation are allowed to use building amenities.

Only 1 person can sleep on the sleeper sofa.

Furnishings. Furniture, bedding, mattress pads, kitchen equipment, utensils, or any other property supplied with the rental property must not be moved. Loss of these items, as well as damage to the property or furnishings over normal wear, will be charged to you. All contents of the home are the property of the owner. If something should break, you must notify Midway before check-out so that a replacement can be made. Guests are not permitted to alter the wiring of the television.

Recreation Deck. The recreation deck, except for the swimming pool, is open at all times, on condition that no noise or activity on the recreation deck disturbs any resident. The Association does not assume any responsibility for persons using any facilities on the recreation deck. Use of any of the facilities on the recreation deck shall be at the occupant’s and guest’s sole risk. While there are no specific age restrictions upon children’s use of the various facilities on the recreation deck, parents and/or their guardians must adequately and safely supervise their children whenever their children are present on the recreation deck. Smoking is not permitted on any part of the recreation deck that is not a Board Designated smoking area.

Barbecues. Subject to availability, occupants may cook on the recreation deck from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm using the installed cooking facilities (coin-operated). Reservations are not necessary but may be made with Security if desired.

Containers. No containers of glass or other breakable material are allowed on the recreation deck.

Swimming Pool.
A. The pool and the surrounding areas are for the exclusive use of occupants and guests. Hours of operation are between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
B. There is no lifeguard on duty. Occupants and guests use the pool at their own risk.
C. Hairpins and similar items must be removed before entering the pool.
D. Glass or other breakable containers must not be brought into the pool area.
E. No large flotation devices, such as air mattresses or inner tubes, may be brought into the pool. U. S. Coast Guard-approved or otherwise attachable small personal flotation devices only may be used.
F. “Horseplay,” running, screaming, throwing, or tossing any objects, or other loud or boisterous behavior is not permitted in the pool area.
G. Swimmers must wear proper swimming attire.
H. Diving or jumping into the pool is not permitted.
I. No one in a dripping wet bathing suit shall enter the elevators or other common areas of the
building from the pool.
J. Board of Health regulations, particularly Section 61, Personal Regulations (excerpted below), will be strictly observed:
1. “All persons known to be or suspected of being afflicted with infectious disease,
suffering from a cough, cold or wearing Band‐Aids or bandages shall be excluded from bathing in the swimming pool.”
2. “Spitting, spouting of water, blowing the nose in the swimming pool are strictly
prohibited.”
K. Special toddler diapers shall be used to prevent contamination of the pool.
7.9. SPA. All of the rules outlined in Section 8 above (Swimming Pool) shall also apply to the use of the spa, except that no flotation devices of any kind shall be permitted in the spa.
No person may use the spa without proper supervision if the use of the spa would pose a risk to the person’s health, safety, and/or welfare without such supervision.
Occupants and guests are expected to utilize reasonable judgment in deciding whether the use of the spa is suitable for themselves and/or those under their supervision. Elderly persons, pregnant women, infants, persons on medication, and those with health conditions requiring medical care including diabetes, heart disease, and high or low blood pressure should consult with a physician before using the spa to understand thoroughly any risks involved.
Caution should be taken to keep hair and body parts away from drain outlets and other mechanical equipment in the spa.
7.10. SAUNAS. The saunas are dry heat facilities. Hours of operation are between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. A key is required for access to the saunas and showers. Washrooms, restrooms, saunas, and showers will be secured between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. No liquid of any sort is permitted inside the saunas.

Please don’t forget to switch off the air conditioning BEFORE YOU LEAVE the unit for a few hours and at departure.

Any violation of the house rules can be fined by the Building Management and will be transferred to the guest.
All guests must be registered in the booking. The security department of the building can require proof of booking at any time.

INDEMNITY. GUEST SHALL INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, RELEASE, AND HOLD HARMLESS THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER, MANAGER, THE AOAO, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE MEMBERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES (“RELEASED PARTIES”), FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, LIABILITIES, SUITS, DAMAGES, COSTS, LOSSES, OR EXPENSES OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING ALL ATTORNEYS’ FEES AND LEGAL EXPENSES, INCURRED BY ANY OR ALL OF THEM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT, YOUR RENTAL, OR USE OF ANY AMENITIES, COMMON AREAS, POOLS, HOT TUBS, SPAS, SAUNAS, BALCONIES, CONTENTS, BODY BOARDS, BEACH CHAIRS, SNORKELS, OR ANY OTHER ACCESSORIES.

LIMITATION ON LIABILITY. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES AND NO LEGAL THEORY, TORT, CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, SHALL THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER, MANAGER, THE AOAO, OR ANY OTHER RELEASED PARTIES BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY DAMAGE, THEFT, PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY CHARACTER INCLUDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR YOUR RENTAL. IN NO EVENT WILL THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER, MANAGER, THE AOAO, OR ANY OTHER RELEASED PARTIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OVER THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT, EVEN IF MANAGER, THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER OR ANY OTHER RELEASED PARTIES SHALL HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

We enjoyed our stay here! The pictures from the lanai were spot-on, the view was just amazing. The condo had every amenity that we needed to stay for 8 nights. The condo is centrally located and we were able to walk everywhere. When we did need to drive, the condo was easily accessible to the freeway. Plus, you can’t beat free parking!
The only negative is the couch could use a cushion refresh. Other than that, we had a great stay here and would stay again!
