Transit
Getting around during your stay at the Pacific Monarch couldn’t be easier. Waikiki is hugely pedestrian-friendly, making it a breeze to explore nearby beaches, shops, restaurants, and attractions by foot. If you’re looking to explore more of the island, Oahu’s public bus system, “TheBus,” has convenient stops within walking distance, offering an affordable way to tour Honolulu and beyond. The Waikiki Trolley is another fun option, providing scenic routes around many of the area’s top destinations.
For guests preferring the flexibility of a car, the Pacific Monarch offers a paid parking garage (subject to availability), making it convenient to park your rental vehicle on-site. However, parking in Waikiki can be limited, so planning ahead is recommended. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are also readily available, ensuring you can get anywhere you need to go with minimal hassle.

I staed for 4nights 5days and it was the best Hawaii experience. The rooftop pool was breathtaking during sunset. Hotel staff was super friendly and helpful even when we hadn’t checked in yet they stayed professional and informative. I definitely would recommend Pacific Monarch to anyone looking for the a clean, good price range hotel 2 blocks away from the beach. Thank you.

Really glad we got to stay here – excellent location, literally can’t beat it – Target is 4 min walk, beach is 3 mins, and Waikīkī downtown is right there. The apartment itself had everything we needed, it can look tiny but it grows on you cuz you realize it’s comprehensively built – kitchen is brand new and very convenient, living room/bedroom has got all the space you need. We were mostly going to the beach and restaurants so this Airbnb allowed us to do just that. Communication was great from the mgt staff – even had great recommendations

Cozy, but just the right amount of space for me
Cozy, but just the right amount of space for me. Clean and looked just like the pictures. Small little kitchenette but I didn’t cook while I was staying there so I didn’t mind. My only gripe was the parking garage since I was renting a vehicle during my stay. I had to call a number to be let into the garage which was pretty annoying.
