Notes
Please note: Following the 2023 Maui wildfires, this home participated in FEMA’s Temporary Housing Program, providing housing for local families displaced by the disaster. As a result, it was unavailable as a vacation rental for the past two years. The program has now concluded, and we are excited to welcome guests back to this beautiful Maui getaway!

Kamaole Sands is conveniently located in South Kihei. Within just a few blocks you have many options from other sandy beaches to shopping and dining options!

Please note, this condo accommodates a maximum of 4 persons (inclusive children), we cannot allow more people in this property.
Neighborly Conduct: You will be staying in a privately owned property that has neighbors. Please ensure that you act in a neighborly and courteous manner toward your neighbors. Please keep noise to a minimum before 8:00 am and after 10:00 pm. Please treat the property, its furniture, fittings, utensils, and other facilities with all due care and respect. Please treat the property and the neighbors with the respect you would want others to treat yours.
All of our units are strictly non-smoking. That means all kinds. If there is any evidence (smell, items, etc) that indicates smoking, or illicit drug use, the primary renter will be liable for a $500 additional cleaning fee. Many of our guests have had severe allergies in the past to smoke.
Only people listed on the Airbnb listing are allowed in the unit without prior permission. If you have more people in the unit without permission than on your reservation there is a $100 per person extra charge. No parties or events are allowed in the unit or in the pool area. The minimum fine for unauthorized events will be $500 + condo association fine for cleanup. Only guests listed on the reservation are allowed to use building amenities.
Furnishings: Furniture, bedding, mattress pads, kitchen equipment, utensils, or any other property supplied with the rental property must not be moved. Loss of these items, as well as damage to the property or furnishings in excess of normal wear, will be charged to you. All contents of the home are the property of the owner. If something should break, you must notify Midway before check-out so that a replacement can be made. Guests are not permitted to alter the wiring of the television.
Pool area. The Association does not assume any responsibility for persons using any facilities. Use of any of the facilities of the property shall be at the occupant’s and guest’s sole risk. Parents and/or their guardians must adequately and safely supervise their children whenever their children are present in the recreation area.
Please don’t forget to switch off the air conditioning BEFORE YOU LEAVE the unit for a few hours and at departure.
Any violation of the house rules can be fined by the Building Management and will be transferred to the guest.
INDEMNITY. GUEST SHALL INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, RELEASE, AND HOLD HARMLESS THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER, MANAGER, THE AOAO, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE MEMBERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AGENTS AND REPRESENTATIVES (“RELEASED PARTIES”), FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, LIABILITIES, SUITS, DAMAGES, COSTS, LOSSES, OR EXPENSES OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING ALL ATTORNEYS’ FEES AND LEGAL EXPENSES, INCURRED BY ANY OR ALL OF THEM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT, YOUR RENTAL, OR USE OF ANY AMENITIES, COMMON AREAS, POOLS, HOT TUBS, SPAS, SAUNAS, BALCONIES, CONTENTS, BODY BOARDS, BEACH CHAIRS, SNORKELS, OR ANY OTHER ACCESSORIES.
LIMITATION ON LIABILITY. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES AND UNDER NO LEGAL THEORY, TORT, CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, SHALL THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER, MANAGER, THE AOAO, OR ANY OTHER RELEASED PARTIES BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY DAMAGE, THEFT, PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY CHARACTER INCLUDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR YOUR RENTAL. Amazing Trip, Perfect Location!!!
I couldn’t have asked for a better visit to Maui! The condo was immaculate when we arrived, has a super comfy bed and a sleeper sofa perfect for the kids. It’s obviously been recently redone and their thoughtful touches were perfect.
This space is right across the street from Kam III beach. We had so much fun snorkeling and relaxing on the beach!
There are tons of restaurants nearby, but we loved making breakfast in the gorgeous kitchen and eating on the lanai. It felt so private! We also really enjoyed grilling and lounging poolside!
Bonus points: the host is super responsive and super easy to work with, there’s a washer and dryer in the condo, tons of beach gear and chairs, comfy linens, and everything you need to make an amazing meal for family or friends.
My only regret is we couldn’t stay longer. I would absolutely stay here on my next trip to Maui!!!
