Space
Trade winds carry the scent of salt air through Waikiki, the ocean glinting in the distance while the city hums with an easy, unhurried energy. From your perch on the 8th floor of the Pacific Monarch, you have a calm, comfortable base to return to – whether your day was spent on the sand, wandering neighborhood restaurants, or simply watching the skyline shift from daylight to dusk.
The studio
This newly renovated studio is designed for up to two guests and offers an open, well-considered layout with thoughtful touches throughout. A quiet split AC system and ceiling fan keep the space comfortable year-round, and city skyline views serve as a constant reminder of how central your location is. Room-darkening shades, an iron, and ample clothing storage – including a closet and dresser – round out the practical comforts.
Sleeping & living
The studio features a Vant Elevated Platform Bed fitted with a Beautyrest Pressure Smart 2.0 Plush mattress, dressed in cotton linens with extra pillows and blankets provided. A seating area and dining table for two give the space an easy flow between relaxing and dining in. Evenings wind down naturally in front of a 75-inch HDTV, with fast WiFi – verified at 210 Mbps – and an Ethernet connection ensuring seamless streaming and reliable connectivity throughout your stay. A pool table is also available in the building for
entertainment.
Kitchen & dining
The kitchenette is well stocked for preparing simple meals and beach-day snacks. A Visanni refrigerator, freezer, Samsung stainless steel electric stove, microwave, hot water kettle, Keurig coffee machine, blender, rice maker, toaster, and baking sheet are all at your disposal, along with cooking basics, dishes, silverware, wine glasses, and coffee. Whether it’s a quiet breakfast before a beach morning or a casual dinner after a long day out, everything you need is within reach.
Bathroom
The bathroom includes a bathtub with shower, hot water, and a hair dryer. Essentiel Elements bathe shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel are provided, along with towels for each guest and cleaning products.
Building amenities
The Pacific Monarch’s shared rooftop recreation deck on the 34th floor offers an outdoor pool, shared hot tub (open 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, available all year), and a shared sauna. The building has elevator access and a 24-7 front desk. Paid parking is available on premises at $35 per day (subject to change). Please note that elevator modernization is currently underway through mid-2026, which may result in occasional longer wait times during peak hours. A paid washer and dryer are available in the building, and a pack ‘n play/travel crib can be arranged upon request for a fee.
Location
Pacific Monarch places you in the heart of Waikiki, a short walk from the beach and close to restaurants, shops, and local landmarks. Guests enjoy shared beach access and free resort access to nearby resort facilities. Beach essentials – including beach towels, an umbrella, a beach blanket, and snorkeling gear – are provided, along with sun loungers, making it easy to head straight to the shore whenever the mood strikes.
Good to know
Self check-in via keypad allows for flexible, hassle-free arrival. Long-term stays of 28 days or more are welcome.

Starting July 14, 2025, Pacific Monarch will begin an elevator upgrade project (estimated to complete by July 2026). One elevator will be out of service at a time, with 2 elevators remaining in operation.

Transit
There is a very good bus system on the island, all buses stop in Waikiki. Our guests with a car can also rent a parking space in the building for $35 per day.

Neighborly Conduct. You will be staying in a privately-owned property that has neighbors. Please ensure that you act in a neighborly and courteous manner toward your neighbors. Please keep noise to a minimum before 8:00 am and after 10:00 pm. Please treat the property, its furniture, fittings, utensils, and other facilities with all due care and respect. Please treat the property and the neighbors with the respect you would want others to treat yours. We, and our owners, work hard to make sure everyone has a GREAT vacation, and managing a fleet of “mini-hotels” is MUCH harder than you would think. If you can be kind to our vacation rental, it makes our lives SO much easier.
Furnishings. Furniture, bedding, mattress pads, kitchen equipment, utensils, or any other property supplied with the rental property must not be moved. Loss of these items and damage to the property or furnishings over normal wear will be charged to you. All contents of the home are the property of the owner. If something should break, you must notify Midway Realty before check-out so that a replacement can be made. Guests are not permitted to alter the wiring of the television.
Only 1 person can sleep on the sleeper sofa.
No pets, no smoking (even on the balcony/lanai). $250 minimum fee if you smoke in the unit during your stay.
Only people listed on the Airbnb listing are allowed in the unit without prior permission. If you have more people in the unit without permission than on your reservation there is a $100 per person extra charge. No parties or events are allowed in the unit or at the pool/BBQ area. The minimum fine for unauthorized events will be $500 + condo association fine for cleanup. Only guests listed on the reservation are allowed to use building amenities.
Pool area. The Association does not assume any responsibility for persons using any facilities on the recreation deck. Use of any of the facilities of the hotel shall be at the occupant’s and guest’s sole risk. Parents and/or their guardians must adequately and safely supervise their children whenever their children are present in the recreation area.
Please don’t forget to switch off the air conditioning BEFORE YOU LEAVE the unit for a few hours and at departure.
Any violation of the house rules can be fined by the Building Management and will be transferred to the guest.
INDEMNITY. Das Appartment ist sehr komfortabel und bestens ausgestattet, selbst Strandmobiliar ist vorhanden. Die Lage ist einfach hervorragend und es gab jeder Zeit einen Service bei Fragen oder Anliegen, so war z.b. ein Early Check in möglich. Nette Geste mit Schokolade zum Empfang. Bei erneuter Reise nach Waikiki würden wir hier sofort wieder einkehren, es hat unseren Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht!

Great little condo, especially if youre not going to be in the room much. Everything you need to get settled is basically provided. Condo was nicely furnished. Rooftop pool and hottub is awesome. Would stay there again.
