Space

Coffee in hand, you step through the balcony doors and let the trade winds do the rest. From the 20th floor of the Waikiki Banyan, the Pacific stretches wide across the horizon, Waikiki Beach glittering just a block below. The corner-unit position opens up sky in every direction – ocean on one side, the bay catching the light on the other – while the city hums quietly far beneath you.


The condo

This entire 1-bedroom, 1-bath condo sleeps up to 4 guests and occupies a corner position on the 20th floor, giving you expansive ocean and bay views from the private lanai. Inside, the living area flows naturally toward the balcony, creating an easy connection between indoors and out. Split AC keeps the space cool and comfortable throughout the day, while soundproof balcony doors and windows ensure a calm, restful atmosphere above the neighborhood energy below.


Sleeping arrangements

The bedroom holds a queen bed with ceiling fan, split AC, and a dedicated workspace with a desk and office chair for those who need to stay connected. In the living area, a pull-out sleeper sofa accommodates up to two additional guests – best suited for children or shorter stays. Bed linens, extra pillows, and blankets are all provided.


Kitchen and dining

The full kitchen is set up for everything from a quick breakfast before the beach to a relaxed evening meal back at the condo. You’ll find a Whirlpool refrigerator, GE stainless steel electric stove, GE stainless steel single oven, microwave, drip coffee maker, hot water kettle, blender, rice maker, toaster, and a baking sheet, along with cooking basics, dishes, silverware, and wine glasses. A dining table for four sits just off the kitchen, and the open layout keeps things social while you cook.


Bathroom

The bathroom features a bathtub and shower combination and is stocked with essentials including towels, bed linens, soap, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel. A hair dryer is also available.


Outdoor living

The private lanai is the heart of the condo – a spot where the views do the work. Outdoor furniture and an outdoor dining area make it an easy place to linger, whether you’re watching the morning light shift across the ocean or winding down as the evening sky changes color. Beach essentials including beach towels, umbrella, beach blanket, and snorkeling gear are provided for your time at the shore.


Building and amenities

The Waikiki Banyan offers free parking for one vehicle in the on-site garage, elevator access, paid laundry rooms on every floor, a shared outdoor pool, shared hot tub (available all year, open 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM), shared sauna, shared BBQ grill, sun loungers, and an outdoor playground. An EV charger (Level 2, 220 volts) is also available on-site. Self check-in via keypad makes arrival straightforward, and long-term stays of 28 days or more are welcome. An on-site coffee shop and convenience store add day-to-day ease.


Neighborhood

Waikiki Beach is just a block away, and the surrounding neighborhood puts restaurants, shops, the Honolulu Zoo, and Kapiʻolani Park all within easy walking distance. Shared beach access means getting to the water is effortless – and with free resort access to nearby facilities, there’s always somewhere comfortable to settle in.

• A welcome starter kit with coffee, toiletries, and essentials is provided to help you settle in comfortably upon arrival; please note this kit is complimentary and not replenished during your stay.

• Free parking is included (maximum vehicle height: 6 ft). Large SUVs or lifted vehicles are not recommended. The garage is best suited for compact cars and mid-size SUVs.

• A parking pass will be available after check-in. Detailed instructions will be provided once your booking is confirmed. Please remember to return both the parking pass and keys at check-out to avoid additional fees.

• Be sure to review the Amenities section to confirm that everything you need is included.

• We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your vacation investment against unforeseen circumstances.


Transit

Getting around the Waikiki Banyan is easy, with many attractions like Waikiki Beach and Kapiolani Park just a short walk away. Public transportation, rideshares, and bike rentals are readily available, while nearby bus stops connect you to popular destinations like Ala Moana and Pearl Harbor. The Banyan also offers parking for those exploring by car.

PARKING:
PLEASE READ THIS ATTENTIVELY. Please check if the parking pass is in the unit as soon as you arrive at the property. If the parking is missing, please contact us immediately on your check-in day by phone or email to report the missing parking pass. We charge a fee of $180 for the lost parking pass (price can be subject to change).

You will need to pick up the parking pass that is in the condo before you can park in the parking garage. To do this, you can park in the taxi parking area as long as someone stays with the car.
You can also park in 15-minute parking located inside the garage. You will need to tell the attendant that you are a guest of Midway Vacations and that your parking pass is in the condo.
WARNING: Large cargo vans and SUVs do NOT fit in the parking garage because of the low ceiling. Call security if you have any questions. If your vehicle does not fit in our garage, you will be parking in the street.

Neighborly Conduct. You will be staying in a privately owned property that has neighbors. Please ensure that you act in a neighborly and courteous manner towards your neighbors. Please keep noise to a minimum before 8:00 am and after 10:00 pm. Violation of this rule may result in a fine Please treat the property, its furniture, fittings, utensils, and other facilities with all due care and respect. Please treat the property and the neighbors with the respect you would want others to treat yours.

No pets, no smoking (even on the balcony/lanai). $250 minimum fee if you smoke in the unit during your stay.

Only people listed on the Airbnb listing are allowed in the unit without prior permission. If you have more people in the unit without permission than on your reservation there is a $100 per person extra charge. No parties or events are allowed in the unit or at the pool/BBQ area. The minimum fine for unauthorized events will be $500 + condo association fine for cleanup. Only guests listed on the reservation are allowed to use building amenities

Furnishings. Furniture, bedding, mattress pads, kitchen equipment, utensils, or any other property supplied with the rental property must not be moved. Loss of these items and damage to the property or furnishings over normal wear will be charged to you. All contents of the home are the property of the owner. If something should break, you must notify Midway before check-out to make a replacement. Guests are not permitted to alter the wiring of the television.
Recreation Deck. The recreation deck, except for the swimming pool, is open at all times, on condition that no noise or activity on the recreation deck disturbs any resident. The Association does not assume any responsibility for persons using any facilities on the recreation deck. Use of any of the facilities on the recreation deck shall be at the occupant’s and guest’s sole risk. While there are no specific age restrictions upon children’s use of the various facilities on the recreation deck, parents and/or their guardians must adequately and safely supervise their children whenever their children are present on the recreation deck. Smoking is not permitted on any part of the recreation deck that is not a Board Designated smoking area.

Barbecues. Subject to availability, occupants may cook on the recreation deck from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm using the installed cooking facilities. Reservations are not necessary but may be made with Security if desired.

Containers. No containers of glass or other breakable material are allowed on the recreation deck.

Swimming Pool.
A. The pool and the surrounding areas are for the exclusive use of occupants and guests. Hours of operation are between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
B. There is no lifeguard on duty. Occupants and guests use the pool at their own risk.
C. Hair pins and similar items must be removed before entering the pool.
D. Glass or other breakable containers must not be brought into the pool area.
E. No large flotation devices, such as air mattresses or inner tubes, may be brought into the pool. U. S. Coast Guard-approved or otherwise attachable small personal flotation devices only may be used.
F. “Horseplay,” running, screaming, throwing, or tossing any objects, or other loud or boisterous behavior is not permitted in the pool area.
G. Swimmers must wear proper swimming attire.
H. Diving or jumping into the pool is not permitted.
I. No one in a dripping wet bathing suit shall enter the elevators or other common areas of the
building from the pool.
J. Board of Health regulations, particularly Section 61, Personal Regulations (excerpted below), will be strictly observed:
1. “All persons known to be or suspected of being afflicted with infectious disease,
suffering from a cough, cold or wearing Band‐Aids or bandages shall be excluded from bathing in the swimming pool.”
2. “Spitting, spouting of water, blowing the nose in the swimming pool are strictly
prohibited.”
K. Special toddler diapers shall be used to prevent contamination of the pool.
7.9. SPA. All of the rules outlined in Section 8 above (Swimming Pool) shall also apply to the use of the spa, except that no flotation devices of any kind shall be permitted in the spa.
No person may use the spa without proper supervision if the use of the spa would pose a risk to the person’s health, safety, and/or welfare without such supervision.
Occupants and guests are expected to utilize reasonable judgment in deciding whether the use of the spa is suitable for themselves and/or those under their supervision. Elderly persons, pregnant women, infants, persons on medication, and those with health conditions requiring medical care including diabetes, heart disease, and high or low blood pressure should consult with a physician before using the spa to understand thoroughly any risks involved.
Caution should be taken to keep hair and body parts away from drain outlets and other mechanical equipment in the spa.
7.10. SAUNAS. The saunas are dry heat facilities. Hours of operation are between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. A key is required for access to the saunas and showers. Washrooms, restrooms, saunas, and showers will be secured between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. No liquid of any sort is permitted inside the saunas.

Please don’t forget to switch off the air conditioning BEFORE YOU LEAVE the unit for a few hours and at departure.

Any violation of the house rules can be fined by the Building Management and will be transferred to the guest.

INDEMNITY. GUEST SHALL INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, RELEASE, AND HOLD HARMLESS THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER, MANAGER, THE AOAO, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE MEMBERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES (“RELEASED PARTIES”), FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, LIABILITIES, SUITS, DAMAGES, COSTS, LOSSES, OR EXPENSES OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING ALL ATTORNEYS’ FEES AND LEGAL EXPENSES, INCURRED BY ANY OR ALL OF THEM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT, YOUR RENTAL, OR USE OF ANY AMENITIES, COMMON AREAS, POOLS, HOT TUBS, SPAS, SAUNAS, BALCONIES, CONTENTS, BODY BOARDS, BEACH CHAIRS, SNORKELS, OR ANY OTHER ACCESSORIES.

LIMITATION ON LIABILITY. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES AND UNDER NO LEGAL THEORY, TORT, CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, SHALL THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER, MANAGER, THE AOAO, OR ANY OTHER RELEASED PARTIES BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY DAMAGE, THEFT, PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY CHARACTER INCLUDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR YOUR RENTAL. IN NO EVENT WILL THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER, MANAGER, THE AOAO, OR ANY OTHER RELEASED PARTIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OVER THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT, EVEN IF MANAGER, THE RENTAL PROPERTY OWNER OR ANY OTHER RELEASED PARTIES SHALL HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

It was a great place for your vacation. The view was beautiful, great location with restaurants and shops nearby, the beach is literally a 5 minute walk. The only downside is that the pool and bbq deck was closed for renovations, however I was informed ahead and was offered a discount for the inconvenience. Other than that, the experience was wonderful and we had a great time there. Would definitely recommend this place and Midway Vacation as a company.

Very clean and updated! Newer air conditioner which is way better than other units at the Banyan which is the old school window type. Not enough parking spaces for taller trucks. Need to remove the 15min loading to allow more spots.
