The space
This entire condo at Waikiki Banyan sleeps up to 4 guests across a comfortable, single-level layout with no interior stairs. The living area flows easily from the lanai inward, anchored by a pull-out sleeper sofa and a 42-inch TV with standard cable. Fast Wi-Fi (205 Mbps) and an Ethernet connection keep you connected, while central air conditioning ensures the space stays cool in Honolulu’s steady tropical climate. A keypad entry and elevator access make arrivals and departures smooth.

• This unit is privately managed and not affiliated with the hotel. Room service and daily housekeeping are not provided.
• A welcome starter kit with coffee, toiletries, and essentials is provided to help you settle in comfortably upon arrival; please note this kit is complimentary and not replenished during your stay.
• Free parking is included (maximum vehicle height: 6 ft). Large SUVs or lifted vehicles are not recommended. The garage is best suited for compact cars and mid-size SUVs.
• A parking pass will be available after check-in. Detailed instructions will be provided once your booking is confirmed. Please remember to return the parking pass at check-out to avoid additional fees.
• Be sure to review the Amenities section to confirm that everything you need is included.
• We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your vacation investment against unforeseen circumstances.
Transit
Waikiki Sunset is centrally located, making it easy to explore Oahu. Most attractions, restaurants, and the beach are within walking distance. For destinations farther afield, public buses and trolleys provide convenient access around Honolulu, and rideshares or taxis are readily available. On-site parking is available for guests, making it easy to drive and explore the island at your own pace.

Additional: Please note, this condo accommodates a maximum of 4 persons (inclusive children), we cannot allow more people on this property.
House Rules:
Parking Pass. You will find the parking pass and black fob inside the unit. They will be either on the table in the living room or on the countertop in the kitchen. You need the parking pass when you exit the parking garage. Just handle the parking pass and the ticket that you get when you enter the garage to the parking officer.
The Black fob is to open the door when you want to access the elevator hall from the parking garage, the Fitness Center, and restrooms located on the 6th Floor.
When you arrive with your car on your arrival day, please try to find parking on the ground floor of the parking garage as this is the only open access to the building and the elevators. If you park on the higher parking floors you will have to walk down the ramp. Later you will be able to open the security door between the parking garage and the elevators with the black fob (on the higher parking floors).
Please remember to leave the parking pass and black fob inside the unit when you check out.
In case the parking pass is lost, or not left in the unit after your check-out, we must charge a $150 fee, for the new issuance of a parking pass.

Neighborly Conduct: You will be staying in a privately owned property that has neighbors. Please ensure that you act in a neighborly and courteous manner toward your neighbors. Please keep noise to a minimum before 8:00 am and after 10:00 pm. Please treat the property, its furniture, fittings, utensils, and other facilities with all due care and respect. Please treat the property and the neighbors with the respect you would want others to treat yours.
No pets, no smoking (even on the balcony/lanai). $250 minimum fee if you smoke in the unit during your stay.
Only people listed on the Airbnb listing are allowed in the unit without prior permission. If you have more people in the unit without permission than on your reservation there is a $100 per person extra charge. No parties or events are allowed in the unit or at the pool/BBQ area. The minimum fine for unauthorized events will be $500 + condo association fine for cleanup. Only guests listed on the reservation are allowed to use building amenities.
Furnishings: Furniture, bedding, mattress pads, kitchen equipment, utensils, or any other property supplied with the rental property must not be moved. Loss of these items, as well as damage to the property or furnishings in excess of normal wear, will be charged to you. All contents of the home are the property of the owner. If something should break, you must notify Midway before check-out so that a replacement can be made. Guests are not permitted to alter the wiring of the television.
Please read all amenities carefully. Also, house rules are included in the unit. Please note the building has very good security cameras and any rule violations are caught by the building manager very easily if not in person but by camera, they are very strict. Any fee charged you are responsible for.
INDEMNITY. LIMITATION ON LIABILITY. Perfect place to stay – location was great, reasonable price and very clean. I also liked some of the extra touches like extra mirrors which was really helpful when getting ready. I would definitely stay again. Some things to note but not deal breakers, the listing/amenities showed a regular drip coffee maker but it was actually a Keurig. The listing referred to the Banyan but this was the Sunset, also mentioned a sauna and hot tub but were told there were none. I did have a leak inside the refrigerator with water pooling on the top shelf. Midway was very quick to respond, but the maintenance team never showed so we couldn’t use the top shelf. These things didn’t change our excitement for our trip and as I said before I would definitely stay again.
