We stayed here for 10 nights on our honeymoon and rented a car. We loved the location, being able to drive almost everywhere on the island within a couple hours but being walking distance to our favourite beaches and restaurants. It was a perfect location for us to stay! The unit was clean and had everything that the listing said it would. We loved having beach chairs and umbrellas and a cooler to use and not having to bring towels and beach towels was great! We could sit on the lanai and see the ocean on one side, the rainforest straight ahead and the crater behind us. It was amazing. The full kitchen allowed us to make some of our meals there. We would definitely come back to stay here and would recommend it to anyone. Thanks for making our honeymoon a great time :)

We had an unforgettable stay at this condo, which was furnished in an European style with very recent kitchen appliances, bathrooms and we'll equipped kitchen. The cleanliness was spotless and even beach chairs and body boards were available. The location of the property couldn't be better. You have a large supermarket in walking distance and between 5 and 20 minutes drive to the best beaches. We don't like air conditions that much and hence loved the ceiling fans which were ultra powerful and soundless. Overall, we would come back tomorrow! Thank you very much!

This is a great condo in a great location. I am hesitant to recommend as I would like to stay there again and I hope it is not booked up. We had everything we needed for the beach. The kitchen is well provisioned. There was even a scale to check our weights. The management company replied to our emails in a timely manner. One thing I did not understand was the stickiness of the door on the upright washing machine. Is there a secret to opening easily. We waited several minutes after washing was complete but sometimes it was a challenge to open. Maybe it is my lack of familiarity with these since we don't have one at home. Thanks for a great stay. Hope to stay there again next summer. Ted

The Ali'i Kai was a beautiful condo in a great location. It is walking distance to the beach and several restaurants. Midway Realty was easy to get a hold of and helped with all our last minute questions. I definitely recommend this place and hope to be able to stay here in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location is in walking distance to great restaurants and grocer. Beach access was wonderful-great amenities, well maintained updated unit. Don't be discouraged by the dated appearance of the building upon arrival...once inside the unit, the view and well appointed updates will make the stay wonderful.

This property is exactly as advertised! Absolutely fantastic stay in Kihei.

Location is excellent - located in a quiet area close to many neat shops and restaurants. Many local attractions are a short walk or drive away. Nice beach a few steps behind the property. The pool is large and well maintained, as are the grounds.

The condo itself is well laid out and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked and everything worked in good order. Easy booking and checkin process, and the property managers were professional and quickly available.

Definitely recommend!

I agree with what Chris said. Plus I would like to add some additional information.
The Condo has Beach Chairs, Umbrella, Beach Towels and Cooler. The kitchen is equipped with almost everything you need to cook your meals. It has a few spices. But there is a grocery store within a block.
This condo is centrally located so you can easily get to all the other cities on Maui.
The swimming pool is great!. Beautiful and clean. Nice comfortable chairs.
Didn't Barbecue or shuffle board but other people did. There are picnic tables right by the Barbecues.
Great ocean view from condo and the beach is super easy to get to. Don't miss the sunset, you will need to go to the edge of the property to see them.
One morning we went one the beach (turned right) and walked over 1 1/2 miles and could have kept going. It was beautiful.
Make sure you do your water stuff in the morning because it gets windy in the afternoon.
We went to the Old Lahaina Luau the 3 of us (Husband & Brother) were not impressed. Talk to different people and ask them which ones they recommend.
Times goes fast so see everything you can. Enjoy!!

We had a beautiful stay in Kihei and the condo was wonderful. We found it to be very well equipped with items that we didn't even know we needed and found great use of such as the cooler, equipment for the outdoor grills, drying rack on the lanai.. plus much more. Everything worked and functioned just as it should and the condo was very well stocked with towles, beach towels and everything we needed to feel very comfortable and at home for the week. The location of the property is perfect. There is a grocery store at the corner and another shopping center walking distance full of restaurants, a bank and the US Post Office. The photos from the listing are 100% accurate. The view is beautiful. We started and ended every day on the lanai or on the beach which is just steps away. The property management company was very professional making sure we were prepared for our stay. We had no reason to contact them while we were there. The check in and check out process was very simple. If and when we return to Kihei will be our go to stay

I booked this unit Last Minute; and it was the best that could happen to me.
The unit is large, clean, perfectly equipped, and is very comfortable. I enjoyed eating fresh Maui fruit On The Lanai, watching the ocean.
In the morning I just walked down to the Kamaole One Beach Park, which is just accross the street, to have a morning walk.
It was Overall perfect. I enjoyed it a lot.
I can definitely recommend this condo!
