Getting around Kalama Terrace is easy and convenient. The complex is just a short walk from South Kihei Road, where you’ll find local cafés, restaurants, shops, and beach parks. Most attractions in Kihei are within a few minutes’ drive, and popular destinations like Wailea and Maalaea Harbor are easily accessible by car. Public transportation and rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft also operate in the area, making it simple to explore without a rental car. Parking at Kalama Terrace is hassle-free, with one assigned open-air stall per unit and a few guest spots available on-site. The lot is well-maintained and conveniently located near the building entrances.

Neighborly Conduct:
You will be staying in a privately owned property that has neighbors. Please ensure that you act in a neighborly and courteous manner towards your neighbors. Please keep noise to a minimum before 8:00 am and after 10:00 pm. Please treat the property, its furniture, fittings, utensils, and other facilities with all due care and respect. Please treat the property and the neighbors with the respect you would want others to treat yours.
No Pets or Smoking:
Smoking is prohibited in condos & lanais. All pets are prohibited. Violation will result in a $250.00 charge & you will be asked to leave. You will be held financially responsible for cleaning & deodorization. This is Hawaii Law. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Only people listed on the Airbnb listing are allowed in the unit without prior permission. If you have more people in the unit without permission than on your reservation, there is a $100 per person extra charge. No parties or events allowed in the unit or at the pool area. Minimum fine for unauthorized events will be $500 + condo association fine for cleanup. Only guests listed on the reservation are allowed to use building amenities.
Furnishings: Furniture, bedding, mattress pads, kitchen equipment, utensils, or any other property supplied with the rental property must not be moved. Loss of these items, as well as damage to the property or furnishings in excess of normal wear, will be charged to you. All contents of the home are the property of the owner. If something should break, you must notify Midway before check-out so that a replacement can be made. Guests are not permitted to alter the wiring of the television.
Bugs & Pests:
Maui is a tropical island. The temperate climate makes it conducive to Geckos, bugs & ghost ants. These were here before people, so we have to share it with them. Our buildings and vacation rentals are treated regularly by a professional pest control service. However, it is impossible to completely prevent the presence of all bugs, and this is not an indication of cleanliness. Dead bugs indicate that the treatments are effective. The best way to prevent their presence is to properly seal food and keep counters and sinks clear of food debris that attracts them. Keep doors and lanai screens closed to prevent flying insects and birds from entering the condo.

We really enjoyed our stay. From the moment we arrived
We really enjoyed our stay. From the moment we arrived it felt like home. The apartment is tucked in a corner, giving you a lot of light and privacy. The balcony overlooked a tidy yard with privacy palms. The pool was great! The kitchen had everything we needed, with plenty of cookware and a variety of appliances. We enjoyed the provided beach chairs, extra blankets and pillows, coolers, and towels for the pool side. It was within walking distance of grocery, shopping, restaurants, and a walking path along the shoreline. We enjoyed everything about this place. Mahalo!
