Great location, cute & convenient apartment for our small family

We did a lot of research on this property (Waikiki Banyan) before we booked this particular unit. It is a corner unit on the 28th floor of the Waikiki Banyan. The views were great from the main room/lanai (ocean views with a few tall buildings in front). We also a good view of Diamond head through the decent sized kitchen window. The apartment was the ideal size for our small family of three and was generally well equipped. Perhaps more cleaning supplies could have been left for tenants. We were supposed to be there for 2 weeks. I wouldn’t have minding cleaning the floors if we had the right equipment (no matter how hard we tried not to, we still managed to track in some sand into the unit). Overall though, the unit was quite clean when we checked in. An added bonus was that the laundry room was conveniently located next to our unit.
The Waikiki Banyan was a easy walk (5 to 10 mins) to the beach and perhaps 10 to 15 mins walk to most restaurants.
Unfortunately, we had to leave Hawaii abruptly 5 days earlier than intended due to the covid-19 fiasco. This apartment was ideal for our needs.
