Great place to experience Waikiki outside the resorts. Location is central to a lot of restaurants, though a bit of a walk to some of the more popular Waikiki spots, especially with a toddler. The only knock is the bed is really high and too soft for anyone with back issues. I am not short, but I found I needed to climb onto the bed. The laundry facilities are dated, but functional. Pay with the app or get some quarters (currently $2.50 per wash or dry cycle, as of Apr 2024).
The small coffee/breakfast lace and market on the first floor was amazingly convenient for a quick snack or refill on water.
