Happy to be the very first reviewer here. This apartment was absolutely gorgeous! From the moment you open the door you will be struck with unobstructed, gorgeous views of the mountains of Oahu. On top of that, the windows are really really wide so you get a nice view from the bedroom extending to the living room.
Amenities wise this place has it! The AC is strong and you can lower the blinds with a push of a button. Bathroom is clean and new. Fridge is huge. The one thing we found very useful was the two beach chairs (fancy ones too, from Tommy Bahama) and the cooler. Those went with us on every beach trip, we went to NINE!!! Anyhow, clean apartment, great communication with Midway who have a suite on one of the floors (I think third?). Elevators are fast. There is a staircase for emergencies. One of the nights there was a fire drill and we scaled the entire building in less than 5 minutes, so, safe too! Parking was a major bonus.
The Banyan has a really great location too. You are just outside all of the action of the strip but close enough to take a 3 minute walk and be lost in all of it! The coffee shop downstairs is really good (I recommend Mac Nut Iced Lattes (don’t get another flavor, though I’m sure they’re good, mac nut is a Hawaiian thang!)) enjoy your trip, this place was perfect for us!
