Outstanding experience. Beautiful condo with spacious lanai. Basically everything is bigger and looks better than in the photos imho (also the ocean view)! The kitchen has everything you can imagine and the automatic icemaker in the freezer is great! A/C in the living room cools the room very fast and if you wish you can set a timer so that it starts before you return home from your trip. I was worried that sleeping without A/C in the bedroom would be a problem because I start to sweat VERY quickly, but the ceiling fan did a great job (we kept it at lowest speed during the nights) and it didn’t feel hot at all. Opening all windows and doors in the morning helps to naturally cool the bedroom and condo without the energy consuming A/C. (Have a look at the white ring binder where you will find several other great tips). Walking to the beach takes less than 5 minutes and we could watch the sunset over the ocean every evening that we’ve been there. Communication with Midway Realty LLC was also very great so we could check-in before 4pm. Only minor negative thing was that no “cheap” grocery store was in walking distance. I think “Foodland” was the nearest which takes about 20min of walking so make sure to get a rental car =) If I would visit Maui once more I would not search for alternatives but book this condo again straight away!
