Very clean/like new. Must be fairly recently updated because the furnishings all looked new. Even the floors were new looking. Beautiful view of Diamond Head – all the pictures are true to life. Building sits on road by the canal so there is street noise – even 42 floors up! – but you are staying in a heavily populated city, after all. So many convenient extras that not all hosts provide but that make such a difference! Plenty of towels, toilet paper (why are we staying with hosts that only provide a starter roll of toilet paper?!?), paper towels, coffee, tea, plus beach towels and chairs, a small, insulated cooler, towel drying rack on the patio. Really thoughtful extras that make this a 5 star stay.
