We enjoyed our stay at the Banyan. As with any place there is the good and not so good. First the good… this place has a million dollar view of diamond head and the ocean. The pics don’t do it justice. It is very close to the beach (block and a half), with tons of entertainment. The parking was included and is easy and safe. Most midsized suvs and vans fit just fine. We had a standard jeep and still had a couple inches of clearance. Fast elevators!
Now for the not so good. The room could use some updates, particularly in the kitchen and bathroom. The table was very beat up and one of the chair backs broken. The tv was missing a remote and even after they sent someone to bring one it never really worked. It’s hooked up to the internet and that was very intermittent, so it froze or just flat out didn’t work 99% of the time. The toilet seat has the tiniest bidet on it. But hey we were in Hawaii so spent most of our time outside.
