We had a great stay here. Kamaole Beach Park III is a two minute walk away. We saw a lot of sea turtles in the water here. You are also about a 10 minute drive to Makena Beach and Ulua Beach (which was our favorite for swimming/lounging out, Makena was BEAUTIFUL but is a little more rough). Driving to the Lahaina and Kaanapali area was only about an hour drive, so staying here really allows you to explore the whole island easily. We also definitely recommend the Road to Hana and snorkeling at Molokini Crater during your stay!
Midway provided all of the dishes, beach towels, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, and a small lunchbox/cooler. They also provided soap/shampoo but it was not enough for the duration of our stay. There is an ABC store 2 min away though, so restocking was easy. There is an AC unit in the living room which was great, but it did get pretty hot and humid in the bedroom.
They also provided us with a binder of great local restaurants, and their favorite activities and spots to go. Take advantage of the Turtle Tracks while you’re there! But if they are not available then Uber and Lyft are also an option for travel. Overall we would highly recommend staying here, and we can’t wait to come back to Maui!
