We spent 11 days in the Waikiki Banyan in July. We understand that Hawaii is generally more expensive than other places so this was taken into account! The place was ideally located on Waikiki and we could walk to everything. We booked this unit in particular for the views of Diamond Head – it was actually better in person. The unit was clean and fully equipped. We had an issue with the sink and Midway was very responsive to our request which was great. It didn’t affect our vacation at all. The pool was under renovation (which we knew before booking) so there is no comment there. Parking was always available in the garage and there was never an issue. Once we parked, everything was in walking distance in Waikiki. Overall, I would recommend this unit for someone looking to stay in a quiet part of Waikiki and for an amazing view of Diamond Head. We were treated with a daily sunrise from our balcony and it was great.
