WOW!!

WOW x 2 actually, since that is the first word out of our mouths when we walked in the door.

PROS: The space is beautiful, clean updated, the unobstructed view of the marina and ocean from the bedroom and living area is glorious! GLORIOUS! Sunsets.. spectacular!
Location is perfect if you are not in to the “touristy, noisy, busy, crowded beaches” of Waikiki. However, it was a quick RideShare trip to Waikiki. The Ilikai Marina is near local pubs/restaurants, two on the bottom levels in fact, also the Ala Moana Mall which has EVERYTHING. There are a few hotels in the next blocks with spas/bakeries/restaurants etc. Just a quick 3-5 min walk to the beach. On Friday eves there is a fireworks show that is visible from the lanai.

We used Ride Share quite a bit since the garage is $35 p/day and we didn’t think we needed a car every day for a week. However, there is a Rental Car/Share company called Hui which is so convenient. You reserve a car for a few hours or an entire day by downloading an APP on your smart phone, pay, and then go to the 5th floor of the garage to access your vehicle. Hui pays for parking and gas! You just take the car right back to where you started and it’s all on the 5th floor of the Ilikai Marina garage, it was so easy and a great way to get around especially if you want to drive the island.

Cons: THERE ARE NO CONS! This place was perfect for us! A+ We will be back!
