What a wonderful spot!

This place was absolutely perfect. Perfect proximity to town, Mama’s, and the beach. Super clean and beautiful inside!

Condo experience

Excellent location, condo is small, but expected in Waikiki. Had enough dishes to cook and eat. Full size fridge was great! We would definitely stay there again.

Great place

Location was clean and close to the beach. Nice view from the balcony. The property also has two beach chairs on the balcony that you use. Love this place!

Great location, better price than an average hotel suite with a free parking space!

We chose to stay in Waikiki for 5 of 11 nights of our Hawaiian vacation. I know Oahu well because I lived their for five years. Waikiki is part of a big city, but it still has its highlights such as food and history and makes for a great "home-base" when you plan to do other parts of the island. Its easy to get to the Windward side, south shore, and north shore.

This property was basically like a hotel suite. It was different in that it has pocket doors to close off the bedroom for those who need some space to sleep in, nap, etc. It was stocked with dishes, pans, and some great beach chairs! It is outdated, as we expected for an affordable Honolulu property to be, but we never saw any pests, and everything worked well. We were able to cook breakfasts, and sit on the Lani for coffee each morning. The mountain view is beautiful and cool in throughout the day.

I have read complaints about the elevators, but we rarely, if ever, waited more than 1 - 2 minutes for an elevator. The parking is tight, with typical, big-city sized spots, but this unit has a free spot, which saved us the $40/day most hotels charge!

Great experience

Very nice unit. Great location. Parking included is a nice perk. Clear communication within owner was much appreciated. Would stay here again. Thank you!!

Great anniversary trip

This was a great location with a fantastic view. We loved our time here. Having the beach chairs was a huge plus.

Everything we needed with a view

My husband and I loved staying here. The view was gorgeous, the location great, the parking was easy, nice amenities, clean unit with everything we needed. We would definitely love to come back here! Thanks for a great stay!

Fabulous location!

The property was wonderful! Just one little thing, the floors weren't completely clean. We don't wear shoes indoors/home, and the bottom of our feet were dirty after walking around the condo. We purchased a pair of cheap flip flops to wear inside and the issue was solved.

Convenient and free parking

This was a last minute booking, since our last unit had a water pipe renovation during the time we would have stayed there so we ended up canceling that. This unit turn out to be good unit, it had a vie of the ocean, except for a few buildings. It’s convenient, close to everything and the beach is walking distance, and the free parking is a plus, it would have been $30/24 hours at the same garage offered with this unit. Overall, it was a nice stay for us.

Perfect location

Great apartment that’s very close to the beach. There are lots of walkable dining options and shops as well. This is a great location to stay in Waikiki

Prime location and very comfortable stay

This home was perfect. Very prime location to everything and the strip. Only a 10 - 15 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants. Beach is only a block away.

Our spot was also very clean and gave over very homey Hawaii vacation vibes. Parking was for sure a plus and easy. Beach chairs were nice to have and very convenient.

Definite recommend this vacation home.

Weekend stay after cruise

We stayed at this property after departing a cruise. Using the DACK tool was very easy for check in and to communicate with the property manager. The property manager was very quick to reply to any requests/questions.
The description of the condo was accurate. The bedroom has a king size bed with tv, side table, dresser and a large closet. The living room has a sleeper sofa (my teenage son slept on it), tv, dresser, side table and chair. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We only made breakfast during our stay. We didn't use the pool or the gym but both were being used by other guests.
Two comments, mainly for awareness: 1) the condo is very busy, although options were showing available in the DART app to check in early and/or check out late, these were not approved by the property manager. This was due to the condo being booked before and after our stay. This made our days a long since we departed the ship at 7am on Saturday and our flight wasn't until 5pm on Monday. My biggest concern was leaving our suitcases in the car to see the sites while waiting to check in/out of the condo.
2) When you arrive at the condo you will need to get a ticket at the parking garage but you will not pay for parking as long as you bring down the parking pass (in the condo) and ticket each time you leave the parking garage. On departure date bring your car down to the front lobby first and load your luggage, then go back up to put the parking pass back in the condo. It is a bit of a pain logistically but at least you do not have to pay for parking. This is a HUGE plus since parking in Waikiki can be anywhere from $45-$48/night.
The location of the condo is great. It is within 5 mins walking distance to the beach, ABC store, Starbucks and many restaurants.

Great stay

We had a great stay in this unit in the Waikiki Banyan. Perfect size for our family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids). Balcony overlooks the pool area, and squarely faces south, towards the ocean. There was free parking with unlimited in/out, which was the main selling point for us, since we rented a car for the whole time. Unassigned parking, but we had no issues finding open spots. We didn’t use the kitchen at all, but there are pots, pans, cups, plates, utensils for all your cooking needs (but no oil or salt/pepper). They also supplied dish soap, dish drying rack, and sponge, 1 paper towel roll and 3 toilet paper rolls. Also included: 2 beach chairs, plenty of towels, 2 small bars of soap, laundry basket, hair dryer, insulated cooler bag, iron. However, bring your own shampoo and conditioner; they only provided a tiny “sample size” bottle of each, and we used it all in a day.

Great location with huge private patio

The Ali'i Kai condominium building is across from a chain of three amazing beaches and within walking distance from many restaurants and services. We've stayed many places in Kihei, and -- if you are not challenged by steps and staircases -- this condo will not disappoint. The outdoor space provided on the expansive lanai is hard to beat...with a view of the ocean in the distance, welcome breezes and iconic sunsets, we spent countless hours at the table or resting in the loungers. This unit was well-equipped and quiet. Would stay again!

Just as described and worth every penny.

Loved our stay! The unit was exactly as listed and pictured. Views to die for and a great value. Location was perfect for walking around Waikiki.

Couple notes I would say: we had 5 people (one on the pull out sofa) and when the doors are closed to the bedroom it gets pretty warm, AC doesnt make it to the room. Could also use bigger skillets for groups of more than 2. Blackout curtains would be a nice touch.

Overall 5 stars and we would definitely stay there again! Thanks for sharing your place!

Views for days!!

I brought my parents to Hawaii for two weeks to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary and my birthday. We couldn't have been more pleased with this stay! We really liked the fact that there is a pull out door to separate the main bedroom from the living room for privacy since I stayed on the pullout couch. The pullout was comfortable enough and the mattress is thick enough that I didn't feel the bars/frame beneath it. Also a plus is the door that separates the tub/toilet from the sink area so you can get ready while someone is using the bathroom/shower. The kitchen is well laid out and stocked enough to get you started. The light above the stove only works when it wants to and is not very bright, so we just relied on the main kitchen light.

I am going to guess the batteries are dead in the TV remote since it didn't work, but we really didn't have the TV on much anyway, so never thought to contact anyone. The air conditioning is really loud, but we didn't mind since we use a white noise app on our phones anyway, so it all blended together.

The two main reasons for booking this stay for me was the free parking (a must when staying in Waikiki and you can walk anywhere from this location) and the high floor on the lanai with the ocean, city and mountain views! This is my jam! No, we are not in the room a whole lot, but when you wake to have your morning coffee and when you come home from traveling the island, these views are the perfect beginning and ending to any day! I hope this helps others when searching for their perfect place to call "home" when staying on Oahu.

Just right!

Our family of five stayed for 3 nights in this unit and enjoyed every bit of it! The location was great…easy walk to the beach and shops. Even a great little grocery store near by. All the things we needed including beach chairs and umbrella, plenty of towels, fully equipped kitchen, and an amazing view. This was also one of the only units I could find with 2 queen beds…which were comfortable! My only recommendation would be to have lots of hooks for hanging towels, hats, bags, etc…since space is limited. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Great location and views!!

We stayed for 4nights and really loved the location (4min walk to the Waikiki beach and shopping centers) and the views from each window. The property is small but well laid out. The kitchen has limited pots / pans.. could be stocked better - like adding a frying pan. Hosts were very responsive. Overall we had a good experience.
