My family of five had a tremendous time staying at this location. The location is fantastic and provides easy access to everything you need in Honolulu (beach, downtown etc.). The view from the lanai is outstanding, and we greatly enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning over the distant mountains. This particular unit is on the TOP floor (37th) of this building, so the views don't get better from this location.

The unit is well appointed with the essentials. While it was small for a family of 5 with teenagers, it worked just great for us. We were barely in the room anyway. As an added benefit, the top floor of this building has ceilings that are higher than all other floors. So that made the space feel larger than it otherwise would have felt.

The beds and linens were great. My two teenage daughters had no complaints about the comfort of the sleeper sofa they shared. My wife and I would both say the quality of the bed was excellent.

The entire condo is certainly showing its age. This will not be comparable to top-shelf Honolulu resorts just a few blocks away. Hallways, elevators, the pool area and other public spaces feel a bit tired. But it is not unsightly or run-down either. The public spaces simply feel like an apartment complex, not a Hawaiian resort. So bear that in mind.

The unit does lack a dishwasher, which is a small drawback. We compensated by mostly using paper/plastic products to avoid washing many dishes on our vacation. :)

Also, the shower is a bit narrow on space. The shower curtain is very light and tends to blow in/stick to you during a shower. A heavier grade shower curtain or curved shower bar would grant more elbow room in the shower.

Other than those small drawbacks, we highly recommend this unit. The management communicated well, and we had no needs for them to address throughout our stay. If you book this unit at an affordable price point, it will likely be a stay you will find highly enjoyable! Very recommended!

Good location and quiet. Some aspects are dated but otherwise it's clean and comfortable which is all you can ask for really. Plenty of pots and pans, dishware, large fridge and even a rice cooker. Parking lot is safe. The large kitchen island is a great place to gather, or work, or eat.

There are a few non deal-breaking cons which mostly have to do with the building. There are only 4 elevators that service the 30+ story tower and one was down for our entire 6 night stay, and additional one went down for one day. Factor that in when trying to check out when everyone else is trying to do so. It took 15 minutes for us to get an elevator that would fit one of us with luggage, 40 minutes total to get everyone down and into the car.

The building across the way has two really bright lights on every floor that will shine into the condo, even with the shades closed. Didn't bother us, might bother others. There are some videos showing how annoying those lights are.

Bathroom is small. Like, really small, but at least the sink is on the outside.

If you're out and about all day, you might not find this place worth it, but if you bring food back to eat in, have to work and are generally planning to stay in a lot, it's perfect.

This unit has the best views. You have ocean view, city view, and Mountain view. I couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay in Honolulu Hawaii.

Iocation is amazing!

My husband and I stayed here for 8 days for our first post-COVID vacation. The condo was as advertised. The location just can’t be beat. 2 blocks to Waikiki and a ton of restaurants. Parking was easy and the Lanai was my perch for reading. The condo was clean and reasonably equipped. We will certainly stay here again if the opportunity arises.

This was just perfect for our family of 4 within walking distance to Waikiki beach. Great restaurants nearby, so the location was perfect. The unit was clean and adequately supplied for all our needs.

For us this was just great, we like a more local vibe.

Great great view ! Clean, quiet, with all amenities needed. Wonderful balcony and views all around as it is a corner unit. Close to beach and zoo, restaurants etc. Elevators fast. Great beach chairs and supplies you need to enjoy your stay! Thanks for having us!

Don't worry the unit will surprise you, yes the outside of the hotel needs a little updating, but the location is excellent, the cute koi pond is lovely, The view of the lanai, wow.. WE loved our time here, and if you follow the managements instructions it should go well. We will definitely book here again when we come to Waikiki in the future, worth it. Oh and if you use Enoa to get to Pearl Harbor, again follow instructions and you will find its a pretty good service and pick up is not far from the hotel. We had a blast and slept wonderfully!

We have stayed in many places in Oahu and this has by far and away the greatest ambience. It was a pleasure to walk into every single time. The view from the balcony with Diamondhead and the Pacific was unbeatable, a perfect place for breakfast and unwinding. There were no negatives and I hope the property is available for our next trip. Mahalo.

Great location! It's only one block away from Waikiki Beach, 5 minutes walk! You can walk to a lot of nice restaurants and shops within 10 minutes. Free parking which is a plus! and amenities for kids! After a few days running around on the island, a relaxing afternoon by the pool is lovely. The mountain view of the room is super nice. Very clean and neat decorations. If the master room had a king size bed, that would be perfect. Overall, we had a blast staying in Waikiki Banyan! Would go back in a heart beat!

My family and I stayed in this rental for a week. I loved the location. We were walking distance to the beach and local
Market. The condo had all the amenities that we needed. It was comfortable and convenient. I would definitely stay here again!

The condo was very comfortable and well furnished with linens, towels, and light blankets. Kitchen supplies included plenty of dishes, drinking glasses, coffee mugs, silverware, and cookware. Beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, and cooler added to our enjoyment of the beach just down the street. As senior citizens, we appreciated being away from the pool and enjoyed the peaceful vibes. We couldn’t get the oven to work but prompt attention rectified the problem. Overall, this property reflected an owner’s care and attention to details beyond our expectations for a rental. We will definitely return.

The view, location and property were excellent! The patio view in the morning was amazing and would recommend this property to family and friends.

Easy process, beautiful view

The condo was just what we needed for our stay in Waikiki, and just as the photos showed it. If fit our family of 4 just fine (used the sofa bed too, which was surprisingly comfortable) and had plenty of towels and other things like chairs and a cooler available, which we enjoyed. Parking was really nice to have (hard to park in the neighborhood) and easy to use. LOVED the view, sitting on the porch with coffee or a cocktail and seeing the ocean, surfers, etc. Loved being able to walk to the beach at any moment. Kitchen was well set up with plenty of dishes and pots/pans for cooking, and we made some great meals. Would stay there again for sure.

Beautiful view from condo balcony was my favorite! Just minutes from beach and stores, great location. Clean and spacious for my family of 5. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. Exactly as described. Received check in instructions and info well before arrival time. No issues at all during stay.

There were no surprises as the description on vrbo was accurate and pre-stay communication with the manager was very good. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space, where we spent a lot of time. Rooftop pool/hot tub/patio area was very nice with excellent views in all directions. There were a few very minor flaws but they had no impact on the quality of our stay. The location was great, with easy walking distance to many beaches, restaurants, and shopping areas. except for it being a bit noisy, but that's Waikiki, not this particular unit.

While the place isn't big, and it's not quiet, we loved the location! We were blocks away from the beach, right in the heart of Waikiki. The place was clean, the wait for the elevators is a pain, but overall we were very happy here.

First trip since 2020 and Waikiki was the perfect place to vacation. This unit was also perfectly suited for a family of four (with 2 children < 10). The unit was immaculate, well appointed, having all the comforts you would want in a home away from home. The kitchen had all appliances you would need, including a small amount of starter supplies. Definitely go to a Costco or Don Quijote for groceries (and souvenirs to take home) and stock up for your stay. Comfortable King-sized bed in the bedroom (sliding door to enclose the room). The pull out sofa worked well for the children, they thought it was comfortable (but we did not sleep on it). The lanai was great with comfortable chairs and a table for drinks and reading. And the view was excellent - the lanai faces Waikiki Beach and you can see Diamond Head to the east. Laundry machines were right next to the unit (1 dryer, 1 washer, $2.50 each) coin operated (there was an app you could download to pay as well). We never had an issue waiting to use them. There is change machine on the main floor, but it seemed to be out of coins often, in which case just ask the front desk for change. Free parking is a major perk as well. Of course, the location is ideal - a long block from Kuhio Beach and the Waikiki strip, the Honolulu Zoo to the east. We even walked to the KCC farmer's market on Saturday. The pool on the 6th floor is a great place to go if you need a break from the crowd of the beaches as well. Couple of other items: 2 beach chairs were well used, and AC was very necessary. Overall, we were all very impressed with the unit and the building. (Yes, the building is older and the hallways look a little dated, but did not take away from the overall enjoyment of the property). This is a great home base for your Waikiki stay!
