The suite at the Banyan was awesome. Bed was great, fantastic view, close to everything and parking included. We sat on the veranda every night and watched the sunset. We have stayied at the Banyan in the past but this was definitely the best. Also very quiet. The owner was very quick in communicating if we had any questions as well. Can’t wait to rebook next year!!!!
We have stayed in the Banyan many times, and it is always a great spot. This particular condo was well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Communication and directions from the owners was very good. Would stay here again. Thanks.
This condo is in a great location - walking distance to the beach (even with all the gear), the ABC store, restaurants, and shave ice! The kitchen has everything you could need...even a crock pot! In-suite laundry was a bonus.
Doing my stay on Oahu in Waikiki, I stayed at the Waikiki Sunset on Paoakalini. I really enjoyed my stay. There's a mini mart, pool, sauna, automated laundry room. It's definitely a home away from home. The location is very convenient to everything I like to do. I jogged near the Ala Wai canal. I went to the beach. I eat at local food places. When I wanted to venture off, I walked and or took the bus. Whenever I had an activity schedule all the hotels are in the general area for pickup and drop-off. Whenever I come to Hawaii on the island of Oahu I generally stay in this area for these specific reasons. I will be back again.
The place was exactly like the pictures on line. Very clean, lots of sunshine and a nice view. Had all the amenities we needed. Good location to the shops and beach. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Parking included was a big plus!
This location was awesome!! A block from Waikiki! We did not even need a car! Easy to use for activity pick ups, Uber, the bus, or trolley. The unit had everything you could want plus more! They had a coffee maker, blender, and beach mats and boogie boards for the beach. The rental agents were very helpful with any questions!! I would recommend this place and would stay here again!!
Very happy with this property! It's close to the beach (maybe a 5 minute walk) and handy to get to wherever you want to go. The pictures on the website were spot on, what you see there is what the unit looks like. It was very clean, and lots of room for the 4 of us. Christian was very prompt with replies to any questions I had and made the whole process easy. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone I know who is going to Waikiki! Thanks Christian!
Loved the location; easy walking distance to restaurants and beach. It was really wonderful to have a parking space included. Beautifullly remodeled. Had everything you’d need.
We just returned home from two weeks at the Sunset. We were more than pleased with the accomodations, they were exactly as pictured! The condo was spotless, well maintained and had everything stocked that we needed. There are a couple of boogie boards, umbrella, soft sided cooler and two beach chairs in the unit. Laundry facilities are at the end of the hallway, $1.50 per load. Garbage chute is located across from laundry room.
The view from the 36th floor is breathtaking and even more beautiful at night! Mountain view is more stunning than the ocean view, definitely paradise!
The property manager, Christian, was fantastic to communicate with. Everytime I emailed him with a question, he immediately responded and accomodated us. Christian was honestly amazing and made our stay stress free.
Location is perfect, as you're only two blocks from the beach and the hub of Waikiki, yet you're back a ways from the noise. Food Pantry is only about an 8 minute walk, prices are good and has everything you need.
Internet and parking is included, which is a bonus. We rented a vehicle, it was nice to have a spot to park in and not have to worry about street parking and additional cost. All local phone calls are free.
The staff we encountered at the Sunset were all amazing and very friendly! There honestly is nothing we can complain about.
You won't be disappointed if you book this unit, we will definitely be returning!
The condo was great. Location good to everything. Parking worked out great. Nice that it was included....and no resort fee. Pool deck gave you a great view of Diamond Head. Bed and pillows were wonderful. I would stay again at the property.

This condo is very comfortable and has all that you need - everything is thought of. We loved the balcony, especially the night time views. The location is great, being at the park end of the busy Waikiki stretch and everything was within walking distance, including the bus stops.
It was the first time that we rented an apartment rather than staying at a hotel in Honolulu. Turned out to be a good decision - our apartment was spotless, spacious and well equipped and did cost much less than a family room in any of the hotels nearby. We loved the view of Honolulu's mountain side, very beautiful at night as well. The staff at Midway Realty were very helpful, answering all questions patiently, even on weekends. Overall a very positive experience.
We loved our stay at this beautiful property! The view alone is reason enough to stay here! We are a family of 4 with 2 kids, 10 and 12 yrs old. We all enjoyed the proximity of the quiet beach and beautiful, impeccably kept grounds. The kitchen was fully equipped; we at breakfast 'at home' everyday of our 12 day stay, as well as about half of our dinners. We loved to float around in the pool in the afternoons as we geared up for the amazing sunset. The kids loved the boogie board and we all appreciated the cooler and beach chairs! The property is located in the quieter part of Kihei, north of the congestion around the Kamaoloe beaches, which we loved. It was just a short drive to Safeway (the best prices) as well as the action farther south in Kihei and all of the beaches on this end of the island. We ventured to Lahaina only a couple of times, which was about a 30-45 minute drive depending on time of day. Our favorite place to eat was Coconuts, which is located a short walk away in the Azeka shopping center - amazing fish tacos and BYOB, which is always nice. Miso Phat Sushi is in the same location and was amazing! Don't miss Ono Gelato on your stroll home - yum! Can't say enough about how much fun we all had - we're counting the months until we can return!
The studio is well-located near beach, restaurants and stores, but out of the main Waikiki traffic. All newly decorated. Bed & linens clean & comfortable. Would book again!
Very happy here, it's in perfect condition
The unit is well equipped with everything you could need. I thought it was quite nice how they supplied beach chairs, towels, snorkeling goggles even. It was clean, safe and the management staff were in touch. Grocery store is a few short steps from unit as well as the beach!
Friendly neighbours.
The laundry is coin and only take quarters so bring a roll!

Took the opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of Oahu to spend the weekend on Maui. This location was just the cure for a nice weekend to unwind. The unit fit the bill in everyway and we would use them again. The following comment is not a negative as it is a cost of living in a tropical paradise. Make sure you leave nothing out on the cabinets as the sugar ants will find it real fast.

The Ali’i Kai condo was truly amazing! Walking distance to the beach and walking distance to shops and places to eat. I would definitely stay here again, the condo was beautiful with a great view too! House was fully equipped with beach toys, chairs, and etc. was such a lovely place for a vacation.
