This beautifully renovated studio on the 42nd floor of Island Colony invites you to wake up to sweeping views of the ocean, the iconic Diamond Head, and the glittering Waikiki skyline—all from your private lanai and cozy living space. The unit offers 305 sq. ft. of interior space plus a spacious 116 sq. ft. lanai, giving you plenty of room to relax and soak in the island atmosphere. Just a short stroll away, the golden sands and blue waters of the world’s most famous beaches await.
Designed with comfort and convenience in mind, this airy studio features an open floor plan with air conditioning, a queen-size bed, a futon sofa, and a 55” Smart TV. The well-appointed kitchenette includes a 2-burner stovetop, microwave, full-size refrigerator with freezer, Keurig coffee maker, cookware, dishwasher, dishes, and utensils—everything you need for a relaxed stay. Stay connected with high-speed Wi-Fi and cable TV throughout your visit.
For your convenience, all linens and towels—including beach towels—are thoughtfully provided. Laundry facilities are located on the 6th floor and can be operated with coins or credit cards.
Step outside your unit and enjoy the expansive recreation deck on the 6th floor—an urban oasis featuring a large pool, hot tub, sauna, gas BBQ grills with picnic areas, showers, a fitness room (access for a one-time fee of $10; subject to change), an ice machine, convenience store, and café.
On-site parking is available for $45 per day (rates subject to change). You’ll also appreciate the building’s open-air lobby, 24/7 security, ATM, trash chutes on every floor, and access to car, scooter, and bike rentals conveniently located on the ground level.

CAR/BIKE RENTAL INFO:
– There is an hourly Car Rental via Drive Hui – 2 stalls located within the Island Colony parking structure.
– There is a Bicycle Rental via Biki – Rental station across the street from the Hotel, on Seaside and Ala Wai Avenue.
– There is also a car rental company located on the 1st floor.
THE COMPLEX:
– Coffee shop on the ground floor
– Trash chutes are located on each floor
– Coin or credit card-operated laundry room on the 6th floor
HOW TO GET HERE:
From Honolulu Airport, it is just a 20-minute drive to your destination. Rent a car to explore or grab a taxi for around $45, depending on traffic. Look for signs on the way to the taxi area upon arrival. Enjoy your trip!

Check out: any time before or at 10:00 AM
Regarding early check-ins or late checkouts, we’re unable to confirm those requests at the moment. If you’d like to ensure you can either check in early or check out late, we’d suggest booking an extra night. In such cases, please reach out to Midway Vacations, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
STARTER SUPPLIES:
We provide a welcome starter supply kit stocked with – Keurig coffee pods, toilet paper, a paper towel, tissue, can liners, salt & pepper, spray oil, laundry detergent, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and bar soap. Please note that this is only a starter supply to make sure you have everything you need upon arrival.
BEACH ESSENTIALS:
We’ve got beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella ready for you in the unit so you can enjoy some fun in the sun. If you’d like a beach mat or snorkeling gear, just let us know—we’re happy to provide them upon request!
HOUSEKEEPING:
Our professional housekeeping team has strict procedures and checklists to guarantee constant quality across all our properties. All linens and towels are professionally cleaned with scent-free detergent and high-temperature washing (180F). Our trained inspectors also check everything before each arrival.
The cleaning fee includes all of the services listed above and restocking of amenities after each departure. There will be an extra charge if excessive cleaning is necessary. Thank you for your understanding.
LINENS & TOWELS:
You will receive one set of towels (bath towel, hand towel, washcloth, beach towel) per guest. Beds are equipped with a fitted sheet, two flat sheets, and a blanket.
LAUNDRY ROOMS:
There is a laundry room on the 6th floor with coin and credit-card-operated washers and dryers. A single pack of laundry detergent is provided in your starter supply kit.
TRASH ROOM:
Trash rooms are located at the end of each floor.

Absolutely awesome location
Absolutely awesome location!!! I literally gasped when I saw the view from the balcony. It’s simply gorgeous.
We were within walking distance of so many shops and restaurants. We always felt safe walking around the area, even after dark. The beach was a little bit of a walk (maybe 10-15 minutes), but straightforward.
The amenities were great. Loved having the availability of flat pillows in the closet (not everyone wants fluffy pillows!), the night light in the bathroom, and the availability of beach chairs on the balcony. The bed was comfy and the space was squeaky clean.
The hotel itself was great. We enjoyed having access to the pool and jacuzzi. While we didn’t use the laundry on site, it looked very convenient – wish we would have known that ahead of time (shame on us, not the AirBNB owner’s fault) because we might have adjusted our plans to leverage the laundry room.
Would 10/10 recommend this place again. Great hosts, great location, great amenities.

Great location, very close to everything you need in the area. Only downside is it’s facing the bar area and can be a bit loud at night times.
I had a great stay at this spot
I had a great stay at this spot! The location is very central and easily accessible to everything in Waikīkī. I only used the pool and hot tub once but it was nice to have access. The view is the real show stopper here, you can’t help but sit out on the patio and take it in. The unit was very well stocked, even lots of cooking equipment if you want to eat in. AC is quite loud but not much you can do about that in an older building. Parking was easy with in and out but was $47 a day. Overall a great stay and I would certainly consider staying at this same unit again!
